To Postcolonial list members,

We would like to thank the list members for a very good response to our publication project On the Move: the Net, the Street and the Community which made us extend the deadline till the end of November as new proposals keep coming. Thanks to this great response and support On the Move will not only be a handy and broad reader (with a very inspiring postcolonial focus) online at WriteOnLine (www.write-on-line.co.uk ) but will also be published 'conventionally' once we reach the final version of this essay, short story, hybrid forms and art collection on the subject of travel, borders, barriers, diasporas, migration, globalisation, the net, the street and the community...

You can currently see the samples of the first 11 contributions in our Non Fiction section, and there are at least 15-20 more to come between now and the end of November. WE STILL ACCEPT TEXTS AND PROPOSALS not wanting to rush the final outcome and printing. We are still looking for works touching upon the Irish migrations, Black Diaspora, voices from the Arabic world and possibly Palestinian focus but are open to other subjects too, of course.
