Subject: Re: Kureishi Refs

Hello Sudip,
there was a very interesting review of Midnight all Day in the London
Review of Books. It covers the breadth of HK's work, not only the volume
under review.
It's by Sukhdev Sandhu: "Paradise Syndrome", LRB 22, 10 (18MAY 2000)

My essay titled "From Posed Ethnicity to Post-ethnicity: Hanif Kureishi's
Novels" is in __English Literatures in International Contexts__ Heinz Antor
und Klaus Stierstorfer, eds. Heidelberg: C. Winter 2000. (in press)

This collection also contains an essay by Bart Moore-Gilbert focussing
mainly on HK's plays. Bart Moore-Gilbert has forthcoming a monograph on HK.

I've worked with the following two books on HK:

Kaleta, Kenneth C. 1998. Hanif Kureishi: Postcolonial Storyteller. Austin:
Texas UP.

Porée, Marc. 1997. Hanif Kureishi: The Buddha of Suburbia. Paris: Didier
Erudition.

Could you please re-post the bibliography of responses to the list?

Thank you,

Mark
