Subject: Who wields the fasces?


Maybe there are forgotten voices of the 19th century, whispering more about
the sources of fascism than every more or less analytical echo of the
presence. Grillparzer once wrote: "Every trial to realize humanity in the
limits of a national-state ends in barbarism."(Is this the shadow-side of a
widespread orientation?)
