I just don't get what a Marxism-theory list is, in Marxian terms. I thought
Marxism was about overcoming the distinction between theory and practice,
and bringing the two into mutual illumination. Jerry already has his own
list where he and his circle can discuss FROP, the transformation problem,
and the Okishio theorem to their hearts' and fingers' content. I think that
whole style of doing Marxian political economy is intellectually and
politically moribund. If Marxism is ever going to influence the larger
world again, it needs to break out of these theological disputes and
confront the real world.
