(1) I wish marxism-international the best of luck.

(2) marxism-international is not a replacement for m2. marxism-theory is
not a replacement for m2.

(3) We already have an established, viable list with a sense of
community. There is no legitimate reason to replace it.

(4) It is a fact that those who are to be the moderators of
marxism-international were not supporters of m2. Those same individuals
defended m1. Well, fair enough. They don't have to support m2, but why
should we believe that m-int can replace m2 given their hostility to our
list?

(5) The reasons for the birth of m2 remain today and can not be expected
to go away with the sweep of a bureaucratic hand. I'm quite sure that
there are those who would *like* to see everybody kiss and makeup.
*It ain't gonna happen* and any attempt to resolve the profound
differences that exist among people by wishing it away will just mean
that these same differences will resurface -- again and again -- on
the new lists. That wouldn't be good for m-int, m2, or any other new
lists.
