That is not true, Hans.

The message I received from Major Domo indicated that my request had been
submitted to the owner of <marx-administration-approval-AT-....>.

I have received no further response from marx-admin-approval.

Of course, I have no objection to closed lists _per se_. However, your
suggestion that anyone can join marx-admin, and thereby participate in the
discussion on that list ... is simply false.
