As for me, marxism or marxian is virtually irrelevant -- I'm
neither a Marxist nor a Marxian, but consider discussion of Marx's ideas
and the ideas of his successors important for any understanding of social
theory, especially insofar as we can trace the implications of theory,
dialectic, and the like for virtually every discipline. So, as I
suggested in a previous post... we ought to simply get on with substantive
discussion and put this all behind us as soon as possible. The NAME, as
long as it isn't, say, TexasRangers-theory (I'm a Yankees fan), is
virtually irrelevant at this point, as long as its within the ballpark,
so-to-speak. If we're agreed that m2 should have a life, making it
marxian- or marxism-theory is all that need be done in my view.
