My intention is not to create hostility, there has been some decsions
made about re-structuring Marxian space at spoons. i am suggesting that
we here at M2 define ourselves as such to allow us to keep the space.

Again maybe Jon or someone else (not me!) could explain why we cannot
keep M2 as is?

Assuming spoons is not willing to provide the space, lets request
space that will keep this community in tact as much as possible.

Justin, why do you assume you are a quasi-marxist? That is your own anxiety.

All i was trying to say is that this list in general could be described
as a "critical" marxism list. Consequently, the aspects of Marx i am
critical of, you may believe compromise "marxian" (what ever
this may mean) commitments -- and maybe i of you. Generally, most of us
here are critical and suspect of at least some of Marx and maybe lots of
"Marxist" literature; and often we do not agree what we should be
critical and suspect of -- which i very much like about this list.

We all have moments which could be described as being non-, un-, quasi-,
post-, and "orthodox" Marxists without anyone of us being defined as
such. Isn't this one of the strengths of this list?

It seems these are the themes which we could re-construct this space
with, which might also be more welcoming by the effort of spoons
and marx-admin? Along with helping us focus, stimulate discussion, and
invite "new" voices.

hans d.
