Doug, you're getting hung up on the name. OK, doin't call it
marxism, theory, if theory offends you. After all, the working class uses
no theories. I just threw the name out. We can call it Marxism.praxis,
indicating the unity of theory and practice. Incidentally it's been a
while--too long--since we've had a discussion of Marxian political economy
that addressed issues in anything like the way Morishima, et al. do.
Jon, you're not listening. Hello? Hello? Are you there? There are a lot of
people who think that the statement of purpose for M2 will do just fine
for marxism.praxis or whatever we call it. What we value is a place where
there is a relatively low volume of postings at a fairly high level of
theorettical (oops, that bad word again: maybe argumentative is better?
Does the working class make arguments?) sophistication and a reasonbale
level of civility. Is that clear enough for you? Would it be better if I
said in French or German? Jon, does it matter tyo you and the gods at
marx.admin that the only people on m2 who support your proposal are m1ers
who think that m2 was a bad idea?
