Subject: Schrodinger's Cat
To Ralph Dumain:
You may be wondering why Rahul has not rushed forward
in response to your request to explain how wrong that strange
report you read in the New York Times is. Well, I think the
reason that he has not, although I may be standing to be
corrected, is that the report you read is accurate. Schrodinger's
Cat is indeed out of the bag, apparently.
There certainly is an external physical reality, unmediated
by our social consciousness. But that reality happens to be
_very strange_ with some of that strangeness providing some of
the substance to some of the pomo fires that have burned here
and there, although more often than not the latter has involved
misinterpretations, if not outright distortions and fabrications.
Get over it.
