If I were Althusser I would say that this is nothing more than an
ideological/humanist statement in dire need of a scientific theory of
historical materialism in order to define or redefine its terms: "right,"
"people," "ability," etc... other than that its an emotional sentiment which
says very little about Marx and working people and says quite alot about the
burden of ideology the author seems to be laboring under.
