Subject: Re: Cargo Cults
Feynman's piece makes only passing mention of cargo cults. It's really
about intellectual integrity and how to make sure that you're getting real
scientific results, instead of merely epiphenomena of your biases. It's at
the end of Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman. It's rather off-the-cuff; it
was adapted from a commencement speech he gave to Caltech students.
Unfortunately, by the time I got there, he was dying of cancer, and I only
heard him lecture once.
