Subject: M-G: Kisangani liberated! Now what will US media say?

Good news: The people's forces in the Congo, the AFDL
under Laurent Kabila, have liberated the important city
of Kisangani (formery Stanleyville)!

We have been discussing, on this list, whether in fact
those forces *do* represent the interests of the people
or not. I have maintained, since last November, that
they do, and have brought some information from various
sources that support this. Ang, above all, who has
taken an interest in this question and has contributed
some IMO quite interesting and valuable material on it,
has argued that they essentially represent the interests
of the US imperialists. She undoubtedly is mistaken in
this!

And I think that, in order further to confirm what's
what here, one should take a look at how the openly
US imperialist media and the other pro-US-imperialist
ones, and also various muppet forces, will react, or
have already reacted, to this important event.

One should be able to draw or confirm some conclusions
>from this.

Once more: Support the AFDL in the Congo!

Rolf M.
