Subject: M-G: state capitalism


dear friends ,

There has been some good hard hitting rapid fire 
exchanges on the  degeneration of the Russian revolution
 and its class nature--not just in superstrucure but in the
base as well..
This is helpful and i look forward to more . This is important
if new revolutinary  groups and current will arise in  actual .
class  action of working class  and their allies.

But the L. Proyect   person  is demanding the debate stop at once!
It displeases him when left trends have frank exchanges on 
serious political/economic question like the  history of 
the Russian revolution and also the "old"  socialist  movements/trends
demise/collapse. In fact he does this whining act followed by
threats of suppression ,  purging lists , etc every time he does not get
his way--or the  facts presented expose his charlatanry . 
Of course  we know that these methods are but a microcosm 
of the way the demagogues/censors  helped run the old "left' movements
into the ground. 

We should ignore this and also the Mark  Jones character 
whose latest posts befit a Howard Stern  shill  rather than
anything to do with  serious  communist  exchange..

We are in a period where sharp exchange/polemic , discourse,
new research on class line  issues is of key importance 
if we are to be of some better use to present and future larger 
 workers struggles against  the world capitalist offensive.
