William McClure

You make a good point in your last post. As Hugh remarked, part of my own
interest in wanting to discuss it is that I really don't entirely grasp the
argument concerning enunciative prepositions. I had hoped through dialogue
here to reach a better understanding of it.

I have some time off during the holidays, so I'll plunge into the next
sections and post another abstract. Matthew, the later sections of this essay
address Kant (at least in connection with the 2nd Critique). That may give us
the opportunity to discuss the Kant-Lyotard continuum in greater detail.

Eventually, I would hope to be able to discuss the essay in conjunction with
the obligation section of "The Differend". There are several sections on Kant
in that book as well and this would also be an intriguing theme. Part of my
interest in Lyotard is the way he revitalizes Kant for postmodern concerns.

Ariosto - I found your post very intriguing and am still trying to decipher.
Would you tell me more about Lingis and the book you were quoting? This is
unfamiliar to me. Thanks.

Has anyone out there purchased "Postmodern Fables" yet? I'd like to hear some
comments. That's all, folks.
