God damn. . . can't you wait a bit before you start trashing people like
this. . .I am not saying whether I agree or disagree with your
assesement, nordo I ask you to wait out of some stupid notion of
etiquette or what is civilized, and certainly not out of some mushy
therapuetic perspective, nor a shallow sense of fairness, or the stupid
kind of subjectivism which always resentfully cries "he is entitled to
his opinion, respect his voice, you have yours and he has his and they
are all equally precious and valid" as a defensiveattempt to protect
weakness through guilt. . .no, not any of these variationson the noxious
theme whjch has a certain dominance in poor academic life will do. .
.and yes there is no reason to hold back criticism and yo call them as
you see them. . .if this is going to fet anywhere it will be perhaps
rough and to hell with politness. . .but this is premature. . .why67 not
give achance for things to get going before respondingin a way that
perhaps will intimidate and silence somebody who at least tried to put
something forward regardless of its quality. . I am sure hugh might
have  a thick skin and can defend himself (perhaps, and to me funny,
eventually trash you) and defending him is not my point. . .my point is
more that your obnoxiousness here is absolutely empty. . . and hence it
seems that whoever you are, you are certainly not much of a critic. . .
at least have the guts to back-up your judgement with a substantive
argument of sorts. . .I do not know now you write or think (perhaps
because I am new here) and until I see something I am not about
tobelieve that you yourself are either a philosopher or poet in your own
right (even a bad one at that) not at least on the grounds that you have
the capacity to type empty claims. . . i hear that even monkeys can be
trained to type. . . have you really offered much more than some typing?
