Anyway, I'm sure Missy Elliot, L'il Kim, Eve, Foxxy Brown, Erykah Badu, MC Lyte, and the bazillion-and-one cameo r&b singers wouldn't be surprised to hear you say that, especially since their work generally outshines their male counterparts'.  But, you know, they're used to it.

How many women post to the Heidegger listserv?  Not many.  Draw your conclusions.
