no, but Pilger deals with this issue in his book, in fact, many commentators have probably dealt with it.  I'd just note that Kissinger is a German Jew (specifying this because of the victim status discussed in Finkelstein's book) and refer you to Norman Finkelstein's book 'The Holocaust Industry' for more details about how the US established victim status in order to accomplish some v dubious acts in Cambodia/Laos, East Timor/Indonesia, LAm.  It's important, of course, to contrast all of this with the USSR and its human rights record in the same period, or before WW2, the period usually regarded as that of Stalinism.  Also the human rights record of countries outside the Capitalist/Communist axis, ie some of these Muslim Fundamentalist countries, Libya (Colonel Gadafi dabbled with the 3rd way, a v strange concoction from Gadafi's brain).  If you can think of any other 3rd way countries, I'd be interested to know.

  Have you read Christopher Hitchens' book on this, Paul?  I'm curious about how he presents his argument, and no libraries in the area have it.
