Subject: 'art of gloss
Date: Thu, 06 Mar 2003 18:49:36 -0500

If there is always some, perhaps of most too much,
inevitable correspondence between one's particular
gloss and a revelation of being, then how would we
hide from overdoing it and totally missing what we
are attempting to get at, being as such oblivious?

The formative mode of techne, gathering aspect and
matter in view of their completed end, determining
from this the manner to realize that end, seems to
be that very will to not notice, much less search,
for what may be missing merely by looking at ends.

Could art as poiesis, becoming both back and forth
without looking on how it should be going, getting
on, return thought to nature in such a manner that
there could not be noticed any artifice separated,
neither cultural nor supernatural, from its being?
