Does it not bother you, John, that all your judgments
concerning
"unevenness," concerning civilian deaths, concerning guilt
and innocence in
this whole matter, rest on a completely skewed reading of
Heidegger?
No, I am watching CBC NewsWorld and those are the statistics
cited. America is strictly liable for those 77 deaths and I
feel no guilt on my part. We are not involved in this
conflict. We will assist at the humanitarian level. We
resisted at the diplomatic level. There is blood on the
American flag. IT is a blood spattered banner.
On
misinterpretations of mitsein, instrumental vs. intrinsic
ends of war? Get
those thigns straight first, and then you will see that your
worldview is
about as enlightened as the Enlightenment was.
Anthony Crifasi
Is this supposed to be an insult?
Is the death of innocents a form of enlightenment? Or is
this 'collateral damage'?
