Does it not bother you, John, that all your judgments concerning 
"unevenness," concerning civilian deaths, concerning guilt and innocence in 
this whole matter, rest on a completely skewed reading of Heidegger? On 
misinterpretations of mitsein, instrumental vs. intrinsic ends of war? Get 
those thigns straight first, and then you will see that your worldview is 
about as enlightened as the Enlightenment was.
