I guess, Anthony,  that kind of rhetoric makes the US
totally justified in killing civilians with their B52's?

Most Iraqi's have a dislike of both the US and Saddam. They
are a 'complex' - old buddies. The US is deals with with the
Iraqi citizen has always been 'uneven' - arms for oil, but
no humanitarian assistance for oil. Ditto for almost all
other small Arab countries including Saudi Arabia. Arms for
Oil....a little on the 'uneven' side.

And it is not expected that there will be any humanitarian
aid to Basra for weeks. Currently there is no water and
electricity in Basra.

Did it ever occur to you that it was also against the Geneva
Convention on War to Kill Civilians?

Does that not bother you? So far, over 3 days of aerial
bombing, 77 persons have died in Baghdad.

economist and US Treasury Secretary Lawrence H. Summers:
