i see both sides, but i cannot understand how you can claim
that 77 civilians
killed (query, the source, proof) is not a shocking low
number when over 1000
bombs and missiles have been aimed at military targets.
that's even below
the percentage of error the pentagon admitted in advance.
all war is
horrible and kills civilians.  but dictaroships do it on
purpose to anyone
who disagrees.


I don't know Bob. The first 3 days of the Vietnam War
probably saw fewer civilian lives lost. That is over 25 per
day so far. And there are perhaps many buried in the debris
which will never be found.

I wonder how many were killed last night? What is the
definition of 'incidental'? 10 or 100 civilians.

I think you must recall that Saddam Hussein was put there by
the US. We watched him shaking hands with Donald Rumsfeld in
1993 and in 1994. Over 55 US companies have sold arms, and
the means to make chemical and biological weapons. As long
as Saddam and the Bath Party were fighting the Iranians,
Saddam was the friend of the US. Dich Cheney also was doing
business in Iraq until 2000 with his Haliburton Oil Company.

The US strategy has been very effective over the last 20
years in the Middle East. That strategy has been to sow
dissent and discord between Muslim states so that there
would be no concern about a much larger Islam organization
to deal with. Remember that the largest client state during
the 1970's was Iran. The US sold billions of dollars worth
of arms to the Shah of Iran.

i want to see the swiss tv coverage of what was hit and what
was missed.

as for the 77, they may have been incidental or human
shields (voluntary or
not), but how many did saddam himself murder?  not even
counting kurds.  and
why not count them?
