Here's something which may be of interest to participants in the o/o
discussion (which there's been too much of for me to keep up with). This
is a note to "On the Essence of Ground", identified in _Pathmarks_ as
having been made by Heidegger in the margin of his copy of the 1929
edition. (The terms "beingness" and "beyng" ("Seyn") probably indicate
that it was made no later than the mid-30s, but if anyone can narrow down
when exactly he might have made the note, I'd be very grateful.)

  "Ontological truth is unveiling of beingness--via the categories--but
  beingness as such is already *one* particular truth of beyng [Seyn], one
  way in which its essential prevailing is cleared. This distinction
  between 'ontic and ontological truth' is only a doubling of
  unconcealment and initially remains ensconced within the Platonic
  approach. Thus what has been said hitherto only points the direction of
  an overcoming, but no overcoming is accomplished or grounded in terms
  of its own proper ground."
