If the liberal democratic propaganda considers Chamberlain or someone else
as "wrong", this is a question of optics. Their actions may have had every
merit which this propaganda denies them. Someone said: the victors make the
history and the losers make the literature. The life of art is far longer
than that of cheap propaganda. Who knows, maybe two thousands years later
they will look down on liberal democracy as we, modern occidentals, look
down on primitive peoples today.
