First of all, you yourself obviously don't proceed along those lines - 
otherwise, you wouldn't have felt it necessary to actually start reading 
Levinas. Secondly, no matter how much he reads us, he can't know whether WE 
are being faithful to Heidegger if he himself doesn't know Heidegger well 
enough. So even there, Heidegger might have something on Nietzsche even if 
WE all don't. So either way, he needs to start doing what you are doing.

about as out of place and insulting as it would be for a Christian to 
criticize Nietzsche without even reading him.
