cuz maybe the dark side only looks dark due to visual limitations. All I'm 
saying is that you should take the time to learn Heidegger and Levinas 
before you judge that the post-nietzschian ethics I'm talking about deserves 
raging against. Maybe you'll still rage, maybe not. Maybe you find resonance 
on this list because people who get Heidegger tend to get Nietzsche too, so 
if there's any place to learn post-nietzschian philosophy, this is it. If 
not from me, fine, but at least from someone else whom you resonate with 
here. At least TRY. I heard a lecture the other day from someone who tried 
to do what most of the old Thomist types try with Nietzsche - they just 
dismiss him by explaining him away as a mere reactionary of some kind, 
reacting against responsibility, against women, against this, against that. 
It was bloody obvious that he hadn't even taken any significant amount of 
time to learn what the man was trying to say before presuming that he could 
just dismiss him with some superficial diagnosis, without even addressing 
his positive philosophy. You're doing the same thing with the 
post-Nietzschians. So I don't think it's particularly "Christian" of me to 
think that you should at least take the time to learn what they're trying to 
say before just presuming that they had nothing on Nietzsche. After that, if 
your rage remains, then rage.
