To Whom It May Concern,
In a recent and expensive fit of insanity, I bought a number of volumes of
translations of the commentators on Aristotle. It was on sale, I couldn't
resist. Now, what I need to know is, for someone primarily interested in
Heidegger, which authors and what books are most relevant? Right now I am
looking at something by pseudo-'Simplicius' on DE ANIMA that may be
fascinating. The translator of one of Philoponus' commentaries on DE ANIMA
has been immensely helpful on clarifying the meaning and distinction of the
passive and active mind, something that has always bugged me. But there is
also Alexander of Aphrodesias, Themistius, Ammonius, etc., and on things I
don't know much about, Physics, Generation and Corruption, etc.

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!
