Subject: [HAB:] HAB: Planning to read _Truth & Justification_ ASAP?


I plan to dwell with _Truth & Justification_ (MIT Press,
October '03) in detail and discuss parts of it carefully
online during November (if not earlier) and December. Or
maybe I'll go through all of it online over the next year.
(I'll read the book in its entirety ASAP).  

A centerpiece of the book is already available: "Rorty's
Pragmatic Turn," which moves into a focus on JH's
post-coherentist theory of truth, beginning with the
section "Truth and Justification." I'll start with that:
pp. 357-77 of _On the Pragmatics of Communication_ after I
discuss the notion of lifeworld as it is conveyed in _OPC_
essays, early October (following the Index entry on
'lifeworld' in OPC).
