Thanks for the reference. I am particularly interested in the chapter on
Habermas as public intellectual. This was also the central context of an
article I have coming out in the intellectual history journal, European
Legacy, in June 2001. In the article I foucs on Habermas's public
intellectual activities as an influential factor in his debate with the
French postmodernists. Have you read the book, Gary? Do you have any more
publication details?
