Proces revelateur d'un artiste contre le Centre Georges 
Pompidou pour son
manque de transparence, en meme temps que pave dans la 
mare de l art
contemporain et ses institutions, ce livre prend de vitesse les 
mesures 
venir de Catherine Tasca, ministre de la Culture et de la 
Communication,
dans le domaine des arts plastiques. Elle ne pourra pas ne pas 
en tenir
compte en sa qualite de ministre socialiste, au moment meme 
ou un vent de
contestation souffle chez les artistes plasticiens; et garder le 
silence
plus longtemps sur une opacite qui contredit la loi du 17 juillet 
1978 sur
la transparence de la comptabilite publique, constituant une 
grave entorse
au fonctionnement democratique dans ce pays.

Dans la foule, Fred Forest co-ralise une srie d'oeuvres avec 
des
artistes, de tous bords, toutes gnrations confondues : Emile

une question de transparence d'thique et de dmocratie 
lmentaires. Au
citoyen,  l'artiste et  mon... beau-frre, de l'exiger!

By sueing the Centre National d'Art et de Culture Georges 
Pompidou, the
French artist Fred Forest wanted a trial for an example. To have 
been
dismissed by the Conseil d'Etat doesnt matter, as the aim was 
to denounce
the lack of clearness of both Beaubourg and the Institutions as 
far as
trading of Modern Art is concerned, to denounce them for not 
following the
contents of the 1978 law about clearness of public accounts. 
By refusing to
give these informations, they are causing the problem of the 
opacity of the
public power, and they are leading to fall apart, and they 
deprive citizens
of their legitimate right of controlling the use of their money, that 
is
the public money. It is a trial for the citizens, with symbolic
signifiance, as the involved artist is not defending his own 
interest.
Such a situation is not honourable for us, with regards to our 
foreign
neighbours. Thats the reason why I, as both an artist and a 
citizen,
solemnly appeal to the socialist minister who is currently on duty 
for
deciding arrangements as soon as possible to make up for that 
serious
attack on Democracy.
This work, the complete issue of which you may fully examine 
for free on
this site, tells the assault course, the judicial events and the 
critical
point of view that the artist is exposing with invigorating 
eloquence and
humour about the official circles of the contemporary art.

In the trend of this work, Fred Forest, with some artists of all
generations, carries out a series of works :
