Here's the rest of my response that you apparently breezed-by: 

All theories celebrating individual and collective subjectivity are
suspect for the Structuralist because they assume that the mass of the
population could possess some form of 'free will.' For only the very most
special of "revolutionaries" could be capable of freeing themselves from
mass ideological domination and have the right to lead the masses.

Structuralism (the terminus of the absurd), is the ultimate product of
self-alienating reason -- 'reflecting' the common sense of the times -- in
which all human projects, endeavors, and even culture itself, appear to
stand _outside_ ordinary people, to stand _against_ ordinary people,
objective things, as the 'Other' which moves ordinary people around as
things.
