Subject: AUT: The term "left-wing"


I've noticed something that is slightly irritating,
but it got me thinking about something. Different
radicals use the term (politically-speaking) "left"
often in very different ways. For example

communists influenced by Bordiga (Barrot, Goldner etc)
seem to adopt fairly "anti-left" positions (eg taking
the left to mean the "left-wing of capital)

While anarcho-communists like Bookchin often use the
term "libertarian left"....

Do you think radicals shouldn'y adopt the term "left",
like doesn't left refer to a political ideology? (As
well it's origins in a bourgeois revolution should
make one pause). And finally, isn't
communism/anarchism the negation of the such things as
"left" and "right".
