If you think SE is the thin edge of a dangerous wedge, you're very much
mistaken.  SE is human-centered while DE is nature-centred - that may not
seem much but the difference has spawned large-scale and vicious ideological
battles bettween what may seem to be two wings of the same movement but are
actually diametrically opposed - see the vicious attacks of
anarcho-primitivists on ex-marxist social ecologists like Bookchin.

Social ecology provides a very good description of a post-capitalist society
based on principles by which we could all live together inhabiting a single
space in a socially just way - worth checking out the radical wing of SE.
