Subject: AUT: Anti-bank ideology/middle class thinking


Has anyone noticed there's a type of what can be
called "anti-bank" ideology that surrounds a lot of
middle class thinking?

It's hard for me to actually explain what this
anti-bank ideology actually is: It might be best to
describe it as an ideology where certain industries
(or certain companies) are anthropomorphized and seen
as acting "immorally".....

It permeates all ends of the middle-class political
spectrum: from the far-Right (nazis: "the big banks
are owned by the Jews") to the "Left" ("No Logo" is an
articulation of an "anti-bank" ideology or the
Progressive Movement is another)

I think this anti-bank ideology can easily move from a
"left-wing" to a "right-wing" version (for example,
Williams Jennings Bryant).
