Well, it can, but speaking as a computer engineer, I
know that within the rank of engineers, there are
aspiration of breaking off and starting your own
company (especially during the BOOM)...there are
issues that engineers could take up collectively (and
protecting immigrant engineers is one of
them...recently those immigrant engineers laid off
here who dont have their green cards had less than two
weeks to get out of the country), however I think
these aspirations, that are not always vacant
aspirations,
preclude many engineers from taking up class struggle.
