Dear Friends,

I write to inform you that all is going well with arrangements for the
seminar.

This e-mail will be followed by another on about 10 February, with final
details.

For the moment I enclose the mailing which I sent out on the
Multitudes-Infos list.

PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE OF TIMES FOR FRIDAY - ALSO NOTE ADDITIONAL SPEAKERS.

I shall place as many papers and summaries as possible on the website before
the Seminar.

I should add that we are rather excited by this programme. Our intention is
that this is only a beginning, of future activities. "Ce n'est qu'un debut",
as the French say. A rolling programme of discussions in the months ahead.
Perhaps a series of nomadic seminars. We shall discuss these future plans on
Saturday.

On Friday 15th the meeting will start at 4 o'clock in the afternoon
(16.00h - NOT 14.00h AS PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED)

On Saturday 16th the meeting will start at 10.00 o'clock.

There will be a notice on the front door of the Faculty, telling you where
to go.

On Friday evening we shall all go out to eat somewhere - cheap and good.

Admission is free, but PRIOR REGISTRATION IS NECESSARY.

If you wish to attend the Seminar, or is you wish to present a Paper, please

The languages for the Seminar are French, Italian and English. There will be
NO simultaneous translation.

The format for presentation of papers will be:

One speaker for 20 minutes, another speaker for 20 minutes, then 20 minutes
of discussion, followed by a break.
