yes, I meant to reply to this a while back.  
Washtech (Washington Alliance of 
Technology Workers) was created in 1998, 
though I'm not sure how successful they've 
been.

also, you might be interested in Netslaves, 
a site set up by disillusioned high-tech 
workers, whose "mission statement" is:

"Something's rotten in the Technology 
business. Never in the history of media has 
so much money been spent so wastefully 
by clueless corporations hoping to make a 
fast buck in this medium." - NetSlaves 
Mission Statement, 1998 

their analysis is typically off-target for the 
cyber-libertarian world of high-tech, but a 
start nonetheless.
