Subject: AUT: Abolishing scholarships


So, on the radio, a guy is saying that scholarships to
universities discriminate against the poor, and that
funds that should be going to help poorer students are
going to fund scholarships....Hence scholarships
should be abolished (according to him).

   Given the privatization and commercialization of
universities, I'm highly skeptical that he wants to
help poorer students, do you think of his ulterior
motive behind pushing the abolishing of scholarships?
