Subject: [Puptcrit] New Puppet Music Video by Tally Hall

Hello to everyone on Puptcrit! I realize that I also sent this to some of
you from my contact list at my yahoo address, so my apologies to those of
you receiving this message twice.
I hope that all of you are having great Holidays. I am excited to share my
most recent project with you. This past fall, I directed a music video for a
webseries for a band called Tally Hall. Each episode, co-produced by the
band and their record label, Atlantic Records, features sketch comedy, short
films, and music videos of singles from their current album, "Marvin's
Marvelous Mechanical Museum." Their album is based on an actual museum in
Michigan (where the band started), which contains many mechanical oddities,
such as vintage coin-operated machines, and hand-cranked automaton displays.
These wooden automata machines were the inspiration for this video. Ken
Berman and I designed (and built) the puppets/sets/props and Marcus Lehmann
was the director of photography. Many puppeteers, puppet/sets/props
builders, and crew members worked on this as well, and all names are listed
at the end of episode 8 at www.tallyhall.com/media.php as well as at
YouTube. To see the 3-minute music video by itself, you can go to these
places: http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=717053222453&ref=nf

hope all of you have a happy new year. Hope to speak to all of you soon!
Frankie
