Bryn Mawr festival I believe. However the unit I like to use is a gemini cd j 15x. Opened it up and put in a plug for a switch. very easy really. The switch is an override for the play function. Starts and stops it. I use a door bell switch. A single play means that you can play a track and it stops at the end of the track, until you hit play again. You could have switches all over the place. This is really not hard..... However the only place I can find the gemini cdj 15x these days is on ebay...cheap too the last one(s) I got were now like 75.00. They used to be like 150 or more (I believe) My unit(s) get a lot of work and abuse and last like two years sometimes longer. The one I 'm using now is going on three. I think. here is where I got the last one's I ordered (to have backups in case). http://cgi.ebay.com/Gemini-CDJ-15X-CDJ15X-CDJ-Table-Top-DJ-CD-Player-NEW_W0QQitemZ370093067136QQcmdZViewItemQQptZDJ_Gear_Lighting?hash=item370093067136&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50 M ----- Original Message ----- From: <wipuppets-AT-aol.com> To: <puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org> Sent: Wednesday, December 03, 2008 7:35 PM Subject: [Puptcrit] foot control for sound? > > hello puptcritters, > I have a question for those of you who might use a footswitch to start > your sound cues. > > We have been using minidisk players, modified to receive a 1/4" cord, > leading to a footswitch.
