Subject: [Puptcrit] Basswood

Lawn tractors will be pouring into stores after the first of the year.
They arrive on pallets often made out of basswood. Especially
Sears. So......they usually just trash these pallets and you can get
good basswood to make shoes, hands, legs, arms, bodies and heads.
Many boards are flat and some are long 2" X 2" pieces which are great
for large legs. Check the backs of stores for pallets awaiting the
trash truck. Treasures are there for puppetry materials.
