Subject: [Puptcrit] coconuts (update)

I left a whole coconut in the fridge (I had pierced two holes and got the
juice), but when next I checked, maybe next day or the one after, it had
cracked.
Maybe it was the cold, maybe it was the moisture trapped inside, or maybe
both.

Which might mean a few things:
-coconut shells might be damaged by cold temperatures
-or sudden temperature changes

-or maybe it would be more stable once it's properly dry.

Another detail I forgot to mention: coconut shells, after they are very dry,
seem to be strong, but have limitations. They are brittle enough to break,
if they are submitted to enough pressure or impact. Still the amount
required for damage is a bit excesive, so I'm nowhere as worried as I'd be
with a wood vessel of the same thickness.

I just thought I'd let people know, in case some want to build puppets out
of coconuts.
