I am thinking about how I will enhance my next puppet tour (nothing booked for now) with small comforts that I would eventually miss, away from home. What are the small comforts that you have to bring on tour, or are thinking to? One trick would be to bring an actual mug and some of my favorite teas and herbal teas, as well as a fast kettle. I can't stand the regular tea bags, they don't taste like much. I'm used to loose leaf teas now (organic when possible), and what flavor they have! I have a special mug that comes with its own filter so you can infuse in the mug itself. But if I were limited in space (who insn't?), I'd just bring a regular mug and prepare some tea bags in advance, blending my own choices together. You can buy the empty tea bags at some health food stores. Some are much bigger than commercial pre-made tea bags. The bags can then be carried in a small container with lid. For some colder or sad nights, a few doses of hot cocoa would also come in handy. I can picture myself now, in a hotel room, taking a wonderful peace-inducing infusion. Thinking about the past, when I would have had to be content with either cheap coffee or nothing. _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org
