When I was a kid and my mother and I would drive from Connecticut to Florida on vacation, I would wonder in awe about the different lives people must have in those little towns along Rte 1 (before I-95 was finished.) It was all SO different from my little town. Now as I frequent those exits and byways and know a little pie shop or an elementary school off an exit, I am in awe that my life would take me full circle.
