Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] On the road

One time twenty years ago I was touring with "Turtle Island Tales" in
the car and the only motel in Morgan City Louisiana was seedy as all
get out. There was a steady stream of clients coming to the room next
door all evening which made me nervous. So I got "Carlos" , My life
sized realistic Native American puppet out of his box and set him in
the back seat pulling his hat down over his eyes. He was not to be
messed with. I like to think he protected the car.
