The guy at the store warned me that burglars look for the little
circular suction mounting pad on your dashbord. So I put the mounting
pad inside my speedometer nook off to one side. Its dark in the nook
and I just set a piece of paper on top of it and it disappears when I
leave the car. Out of sight is my security mantra. That little
mounting pad really is the culprit. They should come up with a
solution to that.

It found restaurants and banks and all sorts of things. I loved it right up until it got stolen out of my car in a smash and grab last February. Outside a restaurant, in a nice neighborhood, with two police officers eating inside. The guy saw the mount and found the GPS in the car. Fortunately, he didn't steal my two shows or tech gear.

I say used to because someone very small who lives in my house and likes to "drive" mommy's car shoved something into the CD player and now it not only doesn't work but I can't extract my Jefferson Airplane CD.

> Which brings me to THE BEST FEATURE OF THE VIBE AND MATRIX. On the dashboard is a plug - a regular plug like you have in your house. No adapter necessary. So I plugged in my little ipod docking station and now I listen to books on CD burned onto the ipod, and podcasts, and music, and just as Lynn does I run sound from my shows when I have to learn things.
