Subject: [Puptcrit] Removable rods : Other suggestion

Hi all.

I just got a pencil holder.
It's a wooden handle holding a metal tube. The tube has a slit and a rim.
Over the tube is a ring, which is prevented from falling off by the tube's
rim. The ring closes the tube tighter, increasing the graps on whatver would
be inside the tube and close in dminension to the inner diameter.
This allows the apparatus to hold a small pencil firmly in its grip,
providing a proper lenght for writing or drawing. Therefore, we can use
small stubs of pencil until there is nothing left.

If we were to use this system for puppet rods, we would have something
interesting and practical.
Of course with any new idea, there are glitches to work out.
The metal part is quite shiny and silver. One could make the same system in
a black metal, I think.
