Hobey,
     I'd say about 75 percent of my mileage is puppet related.   I don't like 
to fly, so I drive everywhere.   If I could drive to Europe, I'd do it.   
Within a week of buying the van, we decided on a cross-country trip.   Actually, 
Elise flew from Florida to Vegas.   I drove from Florida, making several stops 
along the way, including an evening at Gary & Carmen Busk's amazing house.   
After Vegas, Elise rode with me to southern California, where we met up with 
Alan Cook and Gail Schluter, as well as several non-puppet friends.   Then on 
to San Diego and a visit with Lynne & Don Jennings.   Then Elise had the good 
sense to catch a red eye back to Florida, and I left the next morning on a 
3,000 mile trip entirely on interstate 10 (other than the last few hundred miles 
in Florida).   So, within a month of having the car, I had already put on more 
than 7,000 miles.
