Subject: [Puptcrit] Indoctrination/Sandmaennchen

I believe you are quite wrong regarding the Sandmaennchen programs.
The programs were short (2 min) segments that aired in the evening (8
o'clock I believe) as a bedtime ritual for East German children.
Every East german child knew that after the Sandmaennchen program, it
was time for bed. It was more the East German Version of "Good
Night Moon" than a Socialist superman.
